You find us at Skrea Backe, just outside of Falkenberg. Even though we are situated right on the countryside, surrounded by organic fields and beech forests and the ocean just a 4 minutes drive away, it is very easy to reach us. One hour south of Gothenburg and Copenhagen about 2 hours further south, you reach us easily with either car, train/local bus (and Halmstad airport is just 25 minutes away)
On Skrea backe you also find other members in the Skrea backe-family; Prostens pizza, Skrea Backe Destilleri och Skrea backe bo (our small b&b just here next to the vineyard where you can rent the whole house with 8 beds or just a room, You find photos either here (where you also book room), on our instagram or @skreabackebo)
We work with locally sourced ingredients from small producers around us and the menue consists of small dishes and hand made pasta. If we can make it from scratch we do it. And we love to make cocktails from spirits made in the house. (check out Skrea Backe Destilleri. And yes, they offer guided tours where you can buy a bottle directly from them.) We have an impressive wine-list which you also find on starwines.com and try to choose wines from both Sweden and Europe (mainly) And of course you also find a wide selection of local beers and non-alcoholic beverages.
We are normally open all year thursday-saturday except for late spring-summer-early fall when we are open more days/week. We post the opening hours here and in our social medias about 1-2 months in advance and you book here in the booking system on the website. If it is fullybooked right now, you can either get on the waitinglist or check in here a little later, because there are always changes made in the booking. All of a sudden it may turn up an opening that is perfect for you.
Either way, we promise you one thing; a visit at Skrea matbruk is worth waiting for! We look forward to taking care of you and make your evening something special!

We also do a lot of special events and are available for arranging parties, weddings and other events.
